I’m reviewing my draft and it shows three subcategory pages under “Portfolio” in the menu bar however it does not display what I have edited and designed for the individual pages. I need help! How do I integrate the pages I have designed to be the subcategory pages under “Portfolio”?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there! I just checked your site and you are quite close to having this working how you’d like.

Based on what you have created so far, we’re working with the site navigation menu and the pages you have created.

I see the following three pages:

    – | S(C)EN(T)SE: SCENTS OF SENSE |
    – Growth
    – Rhythmic Flow

Only one of those pages has been published. In order to proceed with adding these pages to your site’s navigation menu, you will need to publish all three pages. Once you have done that…

Go into your Customize tool: https://joanjleedesign.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php

From there, click on Menus, then Primary. Once there you should see that each of the three submenu items (under Portfio) are shown to be a “Category”. To accomplish your goal, you’ll need to remove these three items. Try to following:

    1. Remove each of the three submenu items by click on on each and choosing “Remove” near the bottom of the menu item’s info.
    2. Now, add each of the pages you have created as Portfolio submenu items to your menu. If you need help with how to add items to your menu, use this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/menus/

Once you have successfully published the pages and added them to your menu, that will connect the menu items to the information you are wanting to display on your site.

If you have any questions or get stuck along the way, let us know and we’ll help. :)
