Subcription Issue

I emailed <support@wordpress.com> regarding subcription options for my template (Neat!)

This was their reply: You can add the subscription widget under Appearance > Widgets in your dashboard.

I told them I did that before, and all my tabs (page, posts, categories, etc.) disappear. (I’ve left it this way so Support could see it, but they haven’t answered back.)

    Can anyone help solve this?

So, when you first start your blog it comes with a set of default widgets. You then add your own widgets which replace the default widgets. You can add the widgets you wish to include in your sidebar back from the Appearance > Widgets page.

I’ve done that and everything else on the sidebar (name of pages, posts, etc. that people would click on) disappear.

Yes, as I said, when you add your first widget it’ll remove the defaults. So, you just need to add the widgets you wish to have there yourself by dragging them over.

Got it! Did it! Works! Thanks!

But, when I clicked on “Guest Writer” below the end of the post/article it says, “Private Guest Writer” with the same post/article repeated.

Any ideas how I can fix this? Or what in the world I did wrong?

I figured out how to fix the repeated article problem.

Thanks for your help with the subcription!
