Subdomain

  I have read around WP.com and cant seem to work this out. I have my website which is http://www.hayjayoh.com it is a portfolio website running on the 4ormat platform. I would like my current blog hayjayoh.wordpress.com to be blog.hayjayoh.com

  my question is as well as purchasing the upgrade from WP.com would I also need to buy the subdomain from 123-reg?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You may order the domain from any source you wish, or through WordPress.com. I’ve found their prices more than reasonable for what they are offering.

  so if i *just* buy from WordPress it’ll work? sorry i didn’t know if there is a difference between subdomains and domians?
