  trying to add a subdomain to my wordpress.com blog and it is charging me $99 after I read it would be $13.00/year

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  If you’ve already used the domain credit on your paid plan, an additional subdomain can be mapped for $13 per year.

  If you don’t have a paid plan you will need to upgrade. All paid plans include a domain credit which you can use to map a subdomain:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-subdomain/

  If you want to use the Personal plan, add it to your cart before the domain — or the Premium plan will be selected.
