Subdomain for .es mapped domain
-
I have my .es domain (jcabrero.es) mapped using WordPress.com. I would like to make two subdomains, es.jcabrero.es and en.jcabrero.es, redirecting to different blogs in wordpress.com (jcabrero.wordpress.com and enjcabrero.wordpress.com, respectively).
However, after having created two CNAME records in the DNS in WordPress.com, they do not seem to work. Both of them point to the same blog, and not to different blogs. It seems like the subdomains make no effect.
Any help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks, timethief.
Added modlook tag. I already did what’s explained in http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/, and it doesn’t work in my case.

Hello –
I think the part that is applicable in this case is this:
I’ll change the wording so it makes sense with your situation:
Register a new WordPress.com blog (e.g. enjcabrero.wordpress.com) which will hold the content at en.jcabrero.es. Be sure to do this while logged in as the same user that owns the primary domain.
(You’ve done this.)Once the new blog has been created, while still in your enjcabrero.wordpress.com Dashboard, map your new subdomain directly through WordPress.com. So in this example, you would purchase domain mapping for en.jcabrero.es.
(You still need to do this.)Be sure to set your new subdomain en.jcabrero.es as your primary domain in My Domains in your enjcabrero.wordpress.com Dashboard.
(You still need to do this.)Note: you do not need to add a CNAME record if you are mapping a subdomain to the same blog where the original domain is mapped, however, you do need to create a new CNAME if you are mapping a subdomain to a different blog.
Try this and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks. I thought it wasn’t required to map the subdomain to the new blog. After reading your answer, it makes sense. I’ll do it and tell if it works (hopefully it will!).

Hello again –
I wanted to check in and make sure things were working OK. They appear to be from here, but I just wanted to make sure you were all set.
