Subdomain for Network Solutions registered domain
-
I have pointed sng.org to sewardorg.wordpress.com and would like to create a subdomain on an outside server. I see how to do this with a WordPress.com registered domain but not another registrar. Can I edit DNS at WordPress.com to do this?

Doesn’t really help.
sng.org was previoiusly hosted at Integra and they still will provide email. I would like to be able to link back via the web to old content if necessary. So I’d like a subdomain like ‘seward.sng.org’ that will take people to the old content.
This link almost gets me there (see section Pointing a subdomain of a domain registered with WordPress.com to an outside website)
But it says data for CNAME must always be a domain name and not an IP Address. All I have to work with at Integra is an IP Address. Do I have to purchase a 2nd domain to link to?
