Subdomain forwarding help

    I have a blog at robcrocombe.com with WordPress and Godaddy. I want to add a subdomain, for example ‘portfolio.robcrocombe.com’ and have that direct to another website not at my domain. I have set up the subdomain at Godaddy but when I go to it just redirects to my blog.
    How can I make it go to a different site? Do I have to edit DNS records or something? Thanks
