Subdomain Mapping

  Hello,

  I have tried multiple times to get my subdomain pointed to my other website. It has not been successful in my doing so so I really need our help or someone to explain to me clearly what I must do to get this to work asap.

  I am currently trying to point bestticketsales.behindthemusic.ca to 66.230.78.200.

  I have had multiple conversions via email about and done what I was told on every occasion. Please, let me know of I messed something up and what I can do to fix it.

  I really need this site up ASAP!!

  Hi there,

  You currently have your subdomain mapped to WordPress.com successfully. If you would rather point your subdomain bestticketsales.behindthemusic.ca to another site or service, you will need to log in to where your root domain (behindthemusic.ca) is registered and modify your subdomain’s CNAME record.

  If your root domain is registered with us, you can log in to your account’s Dashboard and go to Store >> Domains >> Edit DNS and change your CNAME record to an A record so that it looks like this:

  A bestticketsales 66.230.78.200

  That should work for you!
