  I wanted to use a subdomain that I released on another account, but it’s not available.

  When are subdomains (.wordpress..com) available again?

  What do you mean by “released” on another account?

  Was the site with that subdomain deleted? If so, and if the deletion was less than 30 days ago, then staff might be able to restore it. See the recent topic Rename site with deleted site name, particularly the response by staff member @kokkieh.
