subdomain of WordPress account that point to another Hosting account

  I purchased domain verpuran.net form WordPress. Then I also Purchased Godaddy Hosting account. Now I want to host my sub domain from godaddy. like downloads.vedpuran.com. So what changes I have to do on wordpress DNS Management so that my main domain works with wordpress and subdomain point to godaddy hosting account. Also tell how to add sub domain on wordpress ?

  Hi there, to point a subdomain from your WordPress.com custom domain back to a GoDaddy hosting account, you can log into your domain administration area and set up the records GoDaddy supplies you with. For example, they may ask you to add CNAME and FTP records.

  You’ll need to ask GoDaddy for the specific records required.

  I completed all steps told by you, I added CName and A records which points to my server IP. But my sub-domain download.vedpuran.net only works well for first 3 or 4 hours. A next problem comes.:- Now my subdomain redirection to my main domain, like download.vedpuran.net to vedpuran.net. Then I tested using abc.vedpuran.net this also redirect to main domain. Everything is ok from my side. How to resolve this ?

  I don’t see a CNAME record in your DNS setup at the moment:

  MX 1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
  MX 10 ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
  MX 10 ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
  TXT google-site-verification=Suix9LXulUZ_OH2MJbfEx_YcxcwLbrFPCleViMQtX8k

  Did GoDaddy provide you with a CNAME record as well?

  Another alternative would be to transfer your domain to GoDaddy and set up your records on their end.

  Now it is working fine, Just after adding A records.
  I flushed DNS cache and Browser cache also.
  after Godaddy told me to remove CNAME so I removed it.
