Subdomain setup
-
I attempted to link my website to zenfolio yesterday and found that my blog link no longer works as long as zenfolio is linked to joylifeartphotgraphy.com.
I created a new subdomain yesterday blog.joylifeartphography.com and would like to link my wordpress to that subdomain and not joylifeartphotography.com/blog. The guide is quite vague that I found through searching the support page. I was hoping for some assistance getting my new subdomain set up to my word press account.
Thanks!

Zenfolio is a bit tricky – but we need the base WordPress.COM blog you are trying to map to give you accurate help

@TT – same person but a different problem – but the same question to the OP – what the heck is the blog they are asking for help with

Right now my blog is at http://www.joylifeart.com/blog, I want to move it to blog.joylifeart.com. I already created the subdomain with my web host, just not sure how to move the blog from my current address to my new subdomain address. Hope that clarifies it.

Not a lot – what is the WordPress.COM base blog you are working with?
Also you have another problem .joylifeart.com does not seem to be registered at all – so no amount of anything will work until it is registered
http://www.joylifeart.com/blog gives the following message
Server not found
Firefox can’t find the server at http://www.joylifeart.com.

joylifeartphotography.com was set up with zenfolio, I had to take it down to get my blog back up. That’s why I created the new subdomain, so I could point my subdomain to my wordpress and my domain to zenfolio.
I’m not sure I know what you mean by the wordpress.com “base blog”, can you please clarify? I appreciate your help!
