Subdomain to an external host

  I’m currently developing a website for my client and I’m struggling with getting a subdomain creating and forwarded to an external host so I can stage the developed website before I can transfer it as a live website. I’ve tried creating aliases on my external host that can be used as the subdomain for this website but I’ve had no luck with getting anything from this so far. Anybody able to assist me with this?

  So you have a subdomain hosted here but want to point it over to a different host? If so, you’ll need to follow these instructions:
