subdomain within site

  I am looking to have a blog section within my site that operates like a blog with separate posts, it may be called a subdomain but im not sure. How can i make this happen?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You can indeed create a second blog with a subdomain. You will need to create a second blog logging in to your account first and then clicking on this link (so that both of your blogs are under the same username):

  https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/

  And then after you’ve created the new blog you can map a subdomain for that site based off of your domain using these instructions:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/

  So you can create something like “blog.katecorbett.com”. Once you’ve done so, log back into your original account and following the instructions which are in that help article, create a CNAME for your subdomain.
