  If you have any browser extensions disable and reload your site. There are extensions known to interfere with the appearance and functionality of sites.

  The only extensions I have are the chrome apps like sheets. I assume those would not have this effect?

  It shouldn’t but it would be good to check without any extensions at all, just to be sure.
