How can I add submenus to my site?

  I use theme Twenty Eleven. I want to put all the categories under one menu with the categories under it like a sub menu. Please tell me how to do it.

  thank you very much. another doubt
  i want to create a menu item called categories which doesn’t link anywhere but when the user clicks on it, all the categories are displayed under it in a submenu. is it possible in wordpress?

  Yup! You can create a Categories parent page, without linking it anywhere, by inserting a Custom Link into your menu:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-custom-links

  In your case, you can leave the URL field blank. Then, just follow the directions listed above to make your actual Category pages appear in the sub-menu.
