Submenus
-
Hi, I’ve been wracking my brains trying to figure out how to make menus and sub menus. Ideally I’d like a a menu within a menu within a menu which appear hovering over the previous ones. Everyone online says I need to go in the ‘appearance’ tab and that looks quite easy. However on my phone or table this is inexistant and the other version does not appear when I try to load the computer version.
Is it possible to create sub menus on mobile devices?

Are you using the WordPress app or trying to edit via the web browser on your phone/tablet?
If you’re using the web browser, can you get to the menus page by going directly to https://wordpress.com/menus once you’ve logged in to your site?

Yes, it’s possible on a tablet or phone.
Are you using the WordPress app on the phone or are you trying to edit via a web browser on your phone? If you are using the browser on your phone, you should be able to go directly to https://wordpress.com/menus to edit the menu. General info on adding a menu with submenu items is at https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ but the process looks a little different when using the browser on my phone to edit. I can’t drag menu items to the right to make them subitems; I have to click the little pencil or plus icon to the right in order to move it or add a new child menu item.
If you’re using the app, you need to click “WP Admin.” That will take you to the admin dashboard in your browser, where you should be able to find “Appearance” > “Menus”.
