Submenus

  Hello! I’m VERY new to WordPress and I’m trying to create submenus to categorise my posts on my blog but I have absolutely no idea how to do it. I’ve managed to create the pages within the menu however, I can’t figure out how to get the particular posts onto those pages e.g. A piece of writing about trees into the ‘trees’ menu.

  Hi,

  Your menu items link to static pages. Also, your posts aren’t assigned to any categories. Each has the default category “Uncategorized.”

  See the Categories support page, and pay particular attention to the Assigning Posts to Categories and Category Pages & Menus sections. The second of these two sections deals with creating menu items in a custom menu that link to category pages rather than static pages.

  It looks like you’ve chosen to use tags instead of categories. That’s fine if you want to go that way, but see the Categories vs. Tags support page of the differences between these two.
