Submit Button Not Submitting

I’ve created my new blog and have made CSS changes to customize the look & feel. I wondered why no one was submitting comments and I realize that the submit button acts as though it’s been disable.

I reviewed all the past threads about this but it doesn’t seem as though the issue has been resolved. If so, please send a link.

I have no idea what submit button you’re referring to. When I click on “0 comments” in your first post, it takes me to the comment box.

When a visitor wants to post a comment and she selects “Submit” the submit button does not engage and upload her comment.
I check my *awaiting moderation* as well as the Akismet spam box on my Dashboard-both are empty.
You’re welcome to attempt to leave a comment and you’ll see what I mean.

I just did, and it vanished. Looks to me like it went to moderation OR into Akismet. Check again and let me know if it shows in either. If it shows in neither, you might have the Akismet but where the comments seem to go into the ether.

I’m still having upload problems myself, but to my surprise, I actually found yours awaiting moderation.
This seems to be working intermittently -and that’s not good enough.
Now what?

I found a tiny button on the general page that asked for folks to be logged in before making a comment. Perhaps this should be in discussion near the moderation options.

Yes, sometimes things are in weird places. But if they’re not logged in, they shouldn’t even have the option to make a comment; non-logged-in people shouldn’t even see the comment box.
