  trying to redirect the contact form to another page which says thank you or success

  Hi,

  It isn’t necessary to redirect the contact form in order to accomplish what you’ve described. Just add the form to the chosen page, and remove it (if desired) from the original page. See the Contact Form support page for relevant information and instructions.
