Submitted Prompts Not Showing Up On Reader

The latest prompts that I have submitted this week haven’t been able to get any views due them possibly not showing up on the reader. This is an issue that I’ve dealt with every now and then and not regularly, thankfully. I’d like to know why this happens despite the prompts being correctly tagged automatically and what could be done to avoid this issue, if possible. Is it similar to that of a computer bug?
Any helpful answer would be greatly appreciated.

This is something that I’ve have to deal with very recently as well. I’ve also noticed that I’m currently going through a small decline in terms of viewership. I didn’t have to encounter this type of situation last month as it wasn’t hard for me to get my content seen and was able to get a considerable amount of views on a weekly basis. Perhaps, it’s just a down period? 😂

Hey there @itsbryant, I didn’t check all of these but here’s what I noticed:
- I didn’t check all of them yet, but so far none of them have tags beyond the daily prompt stuff. Have you considered adding just a few other related tags? That can help with traffic and organization on your site.
- Three or four of them seem to have been published, unpublished, then re-published. Can you confirm what’s going on with those?
Most of them are in the reader for that tag, so I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with that. If you can let us know more about the publish dates issue, that would be super helpful!

I had some time to think about the issue today and actually considered adding a couple of related tags to the prompts that I’ve written and the ones I’ll write going forward, but it’s something that I didn’t consider doing last month as the daily prompts tags seemed like they were enough being that my site was getting views daily.
As for the matter of publishing, unpublishing and republishing of my posts, the majority of the posts I’ve published are published on the date that I completed them. I rarely republish my posts and do so only if I changed my mind on the concept of what I wanted to write about. A good example of this would be the last post that’s not showing up in list of posts that haven’t received a single view.

That post was originally published last night at 11PM, but it’s not showing because I republished it earlier this afternoon at 5PM to test to see if posting it at an earlier time would work to get it noticed.
If there are any other questions regarding my site and posts, I’ll be more happy to answer them.

Thank you. So they’re not getting views at all, then you republished to see if that would fix the problem?
Please do go ahead and add a few (not more than 10 or so) related tags in the meantime. I’ll see what we can find.

Exactly. Except the only one I’ve used that method with is the last that last prompt that shared with you.
I’ll definitely start using more tags on my prompts as well.
