submitting stories through wordpress blog

    Hello,
We are wanting to create a blog in which people submit their stories via an embedded function with questions with space for typing and dropdown menus. Wondering if this will require a plug in and if so if anyone has any recommendations?
It is a health related blog (not a business selling anything) and we want to be able to edit submissions prior to posting them.
    Thanks,
    Anita and Sarah

    Hi there!

There are third-party plugins out there that let visitors (or registered visitors) submit blog posts through a form on the site. You can search on Google or on the WordPress.org plugin repository for such frontend post submission plugins. Just a note that you’ll need the WordPress.com Business plan on your site to use plugins.

You can, alternatively, use a Form block on your site. Submissions through a Form block will be sent to you via email. You can copy the content from the email to a new post editor and then post them on your site.

If you’d like the submissions to be automatically saved as draft posts so that you can edit them and publish them on your site, then you’d need to use a plugin instead.

    Hope that helps!
