Subpages lost in unsleepable theme
-
When I move from parent page to parent page, the subpages should be displaying the specific pages to the parent pages, however, (unlike previously), they do not show up anymore. How can I fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are talking about a list of subpages showing at the bottom of a parent page, only 4 themes here do that: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/parent-page-links-to-child/ .

TSP, beat me…
TSP, I think the problem the OP’s having is that all sub-pages, regardless of the parent page, appear on the sidebar and not ‘individually’ as it should be. For example:
About:
a_childPage1
a_childPage2Contact:
c_childPage1
c_childPage2On the side bar, when reading the About page, you should only see:
a_childPage1
a_childPage2And when reading the Contact page, the sidebar should have:
c_childPage1
c_childPage2but currently, he’s side bar shows:
a_childPage1
a_childPage2
c_childPage1
c_childPage2No matter what page he’s on.

Devblog, you are correct, that is exactly the problem I’m having. Should I contact support to fix this?

Displaying individual subpages in the sidebar is the default behavior of the theme if you don’t add widgets. Once you add any widget, that feature goes (that’s why I hadn’t included Unsleepable in the post tsp linked to).

That’s weird… I tested (previewed) it on my CSSWiz blog and it displayed individual subpages as it’s supposed to, and I have widgets.

@devblog: You have widgets, but in iNove. When you switch from iNove to Unsleepable, the widgets move to inactive.
@proventuresgroup: You can edit the settings in your Pages widget so that all parent and child pages will appear there, or you can manually add appropriate links in the parent pages.

That makes sense. Thanks for explaining that.

You’re welcome! Mind you, I was taken aback at first, and I had to test it to make sure!

You’re welcome. Sorry we didn’t have the answer you were hoping for!
By the way (in case you would consider switching), Fauna and Regulus display subpages the way your theme used to.
