Subscribe block on home page not working

    On my home page, there is a subscribe block. I tried to subscribe using my personal email address and it said it was successful but I didn’t get any email when I published my first post. When I try to subscribe again, it says I’m already subscribed. I went to my users-> view all users and it doesn’t show me on the list for email subscriptions. I tried to invite my personal email address and the link doesn’t work. Please help.

    Hi there!

    Did you use a Gmail address that starts with “a”? If so, I checked that email address and it appears to be pending confirmation. This means that the confirmation email was sent, but the confirmation link wasn’t clicked. This can happen for several reasons. First, it’s possible that the confirmation email was overlooked. It’s also possible that the confirmation email got incorrectly flagged as spam by Gmail.

    You can also go to http://subscribe.wordpress.com while logged out of your expeditionofunderstanding user account or in an incognito window to manually confirm your subscription.
