Subscribe button does not match preview

    Hi,

    This is hard to describe without adding pictures – but it seems that when adding the email subscribe option to my site, how it looks in the editor never matches how it looks within the preview or uploaded site. In fact it seems the preview/uploaded version never changes.

    For example;
    – Size/width can be changed in editor but does not change in preview
    – Subscribe button shows a full button, but in preview the button is cut in half

    Any ideas?

    Hey there David, I think I see what you mean.

    Would you be willing to just remove the subscribe link and try re-adding it with the default settings? We’ll go from there.

    Here is how that looks when previewed and uploaded:

    The real issue is that some things in the editor are not displayed correctly. Example;
    – Pill social buttons
    – Subscribe bar
    – Images vertical stack vs horizontal stack

    The “real” looks exactly like I want it to look – through making strong use of the preview – with the only exception being the subscribe button. But just very confusing because of the discrepancy between the editor view and real view.

    For now, I have deleted and re-added the subscribe bar with default settings. This helps fix the button in the default state.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the detailed information. That’s indeed weird. I’ll try and replicate it on a test site of mine and update you here with the findings.
