Subscribe button on Home Page leads to page full of XML

  New to wordpress…my readers are being sent to a page full of XML text when they click on the Subscribe button at the top of my home page. Is there a solution for this?

  Hi there – That subscribe button is to subscribe to your RSS feed. An RSS feed doesn’t typically load right in a browser in a readable fashion; rather a user would subscribe to the feed in a feed reader. Here’s a bit more explanation of how it works:

  For subscriptions, your readers can use the Follow Blog widget.

  You can remove the RSS feed button altogether from Appearance->Theme Options->Header Links here:
