Subscribe by email not working

  I tried to change my email subscription from feedblitz to wordpress. To test it, I subscribed to my home email and a coworker subscribed with her work email. I am using pages, not posts, so I designated changes to pages to be sent via email in the settings. I then changed my pages on two different days and neither one of us was notified via email.

  Also, I have never been sent changes or new subscribers (to my surprise I already had 5 through wordpress) to my email as I have set up the account. I have never received any emails from wordpress at all. Perhaps this is an indication that something is wrong.

  I put back the link to subscribe via feedblitz, but because I am using pages rather than posts, feedblitz is no longer the service for me. Is there anything you can do?
