Subscribe problems?

Whenever people attempt to follow my blog is comes up with ‘Your subscription could not be activated, it may have expired.’
Any ideas?

Hi there,
That usually means they waited too long after clicking the follow button to click the link in the confirmation email.
It sounds like these are people without WordPress.com username accounts, correct? If so, they can go to https://subscribe.wordpress.com/ to manage their subscription settings. They should be able to confirm the subscription from there, or otherwise cancel the pending subscription so they can subscribe again.
If you can give me a couple email addresses of people experiencing this problem I’ll also be happy to check them for you.
