Subscribe through feedburner issues
-
I’m new to WordPress (and to blogs) and I’d like people to be able to subscribe to my blog through email. I researched what questions I could find and decided to use Feedburner to do it. I didn’t have any problems adding it I’m just not happy with the email that it sends. I’m looking for something that just lets people know that the blog has been updated and that they should check it out. Right now it’s sends an email of everything that’s been put on the blog on that day. If I wanted to to send people the whole thing I could just do it by email myself. I’ve looked on the help at Feedburner but I haven’t found anything. Anyone have any idea how to fix this or if there’s something else I can use? Thanks for your help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks, that does help. It’s still not exactly what I was looking for but it might be as good as it gets. Is Feedburner the only one that you can do subscriptions through?

You could use the excerpt field when you create or edit a post. Whatever you enter there is what shows up in your feed, even if it’s only Read this on my blog. Whather that is also what gets displayed for that post by search engines I don’t know, but someone else surely will know.
