Subscribe to comments option missing

Currently, what I see beneath the comment box below each of my posts is this: “Notify me of site updates”. (and not just in my main blog, though the wording is slightly different in the others, they all mention site updates and don’t have the comment option there). What should be there are the options to subscribe to blog and the option to subscribe to comments (by email). Well I can understand if WordPress have changed the wording of the post update one, fair enough, but other people’s comment boxes (that have these options enabled) are showing them okay, so I can’t understand what’s happening!
I have them checked in my settings but they aren’t appearing beneath the posts. I temporarily subscribed to the “Notify me of site updates” to test it out myself and got the blog update notifications in my email but no comment update notifications (which was as I suspected, as it doesn’t mention comments).
I cleared my cache and cookies and so on, and that didn’t fix it and I don’t have any new plugins added to Firefox (which is the browser I use), so can’t think that it’s anything to do with my browser or computer.
Is this a problem anyone else is having or, at the least, anyone else has heard of? Hope someone can help me with this, as it’s really bugging me!

Below each post (on the single post page after clicking the “comments link or the title of the post, I see the following below the comment box.
Notify me of follow-up comments via email.
Notify me of site updates
If they are not showing for you, try logging out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then take another look.

thesacredpath: Thanks. I had done that before, but I just did it again twice (log out, clear the cache and cookies then restart browser) and when I log back in, the comments element of it is still missing. Yet, logged out each time, I can now see the same as you.
The weird thing is, yesterday when logged in, I could see ‘Notify me of site updates’ and today it says ‘Notify me of new posts via email’ (which is what I thought I’d seen there before… as I posted something about it to my blog).
Any thoughts?
If other people are seeing the settings as they should be, that’s fine, I’m mostly concerned that people’s subs are working okay and are visible on my blog, but I’d still like to suss out what’s going on.
