  In my Subscribe widget, I see the ‘Count me in!’ field; however, I have been unsuccessful in adding a field for someone to enter their email address for notification.
  Please direct me to step-by-step instructions.

  I see that there are 2 different sites on your account. Let me know which one you’re working on so we can take a closer look at the subscription question.

  Generally speaking, you’d add this widget for folks to follow you by email (versus their WordPress.com accounts).

  I am referring to Mackey’s Muse blog account.
  I have worked w/in the widget guidelines; after saving changes and view site I still do not see the various options for users. Is this because I am the account owner?

  On https://mackeyme.wordpress.com/ as long as you’re logged in, you’ll see a button to follow the site in the WordPress.com Reader (where subscribers can optionally enable email notifications.
