Subscriber emails sent from wrong site

  I have sites with wordpress.com and self-hosted. I sign in and manage some settings through wordpress.com login. I have recently noticed that subscriber email notifications sent out when I post a new post on my main self-hosted site (https://herbidacious.calamus.graphics) are sent “from” https://newbywatsonwedding.wordpress.com. Obviously my subscribers do not recognise this, so are understandably confused.

  How can this be? How do I correct it?

  Oh. It turned out it was my own email client that was filling out the from field using my old contact information, so I was the only one seeing the incorrect from filed. Duh!
