subscriber limits……………..

I know that there’s a limit to 35 subscribers for a private blog. Is that 35 separate email addresses for a year? What if one cancels their wordpress account, or I take someone off the list, does that count as one of the 35, and then can I add another subscriber….keeping the total of subscribers to a maximum of 35, all the time, but varying who those 35 subscribers are?

I think you’ll have to ask staff directly. I don’t recall anyone ever asking before, but they’re good questions:

Yes you can vary. It’s 35 at one time, but you could have 100’s of different people throughout eternity; but only 35 private subscribers at once. Once you delete someone, the slot is free for a new, hot body. I know, cuz I did it for a hot minute – a few years back.

I have 48 subscribers thru feedburner. I didn’t understand that there is a limit. Confused here.

@lynnbarbee it is subscribers to a “Private Blog”, not subscribers to your RSS feed. That is unlimited, but without an upgrade for unlimited private blog subscribers, you are limited to 35.
