Subscriber newsletter – just send a link?

    Hello all,

    When I publish a new blog post, an email is sent with the whole post in it to my subscribers. I’d really rather they visit the site so is there any way I can get Jetpack to just send a link, or a teaser?

    Hi there!

    You can insert a More block into the body of the post before publishing. The content placed before the More block will be included in the email that goes out. To read the rest of the post, your followers will have to click a link to visit your site.

    Hi!

    Many thanks for helping me. If i do this, it inserts a ‘Read More’ link in the email, at the appropriate place, but the the text continues after the link anyway. I am using secure email from Tutanota, maybe this has something to do with it.

    I’ll post this over at the Jetpack support forum, but just wanted to let you know.

    Ah, seems it takes a while to update so best to wait a while before you send the test email – all seems to be working now and thank you for your help – perfect! :)
