Subscriber not officially subscribed.

Hello!
Just a quick question: one of my subscribers has not received mail lately whenever I post. So, she tried to subscribe again under the email XXX but I never received an email verifying her subscription (I get an email whenever anyone subscribes to my blog). Is it just a one-time quirk or do I need to do something?

Hi there Stacey! I’m not showing her as subscribed with that email address. (I’ve removed her email address from your Post, to protect her from spam, but I do have record of it.)
If she is a WordPress.com user, have her log into her account at WordPress.com/. In her Reader, there will be a menu on the right-hand side. She should click on EDIT next to Blogs I Follow. If she sees your site in her list, great. She can adjust her notification settings as she’d like. If she doesn’t see your site, she can type it into the Enter a Blog URL to Follow.
If she is not a WordPress.com user, please have her go to subscribe.wordpress.com to check on her subscription status. There, she will be instructed on how to manage her subscriptions.
Finally, you can send her this link that will help her troubleshoot any settings-related issues she may be having:

Thank you so much for your help. I do believe she is not a WordPress member, but I will give her the additional information. (And she did receive a verification of a comment “like” just a short time ago to the same address, so something is getting through.)
