  I have just started a blog. When I go to the website it tells me I have 17 subscribers, when I go to my jetpack dashboard, it tells me I have only 9. Is there a reason for this and is it anything that I have done? As a newbie I am not sure if I have done something wrong?

  As you are new, you may not be aware that this forum is actually for WordPress.com hosted sites. Your site appears to be hosted by a company called SoftLayer Inc. This means that you have a self hosted version of WordPress on your site.
