Subscribers
-
Just started a blog. Subscribers are not showing up on my list of subscribers but are seeing my posts. How do I know who is actually following my blog?
-
Hi there,
Are you speaking of https://robotmonkeybanana.com/?
You can see any people who followed your site in the WordPress.com Reader via their WordPress.com accounts, and email subscribers who subscribed via the Jetpack plugin, at My Site ->Manage ->People here on WordPress.com.
If you’re using any other type of subscription plugin on your site, you’ll need to contact support for that plugin directly for help, as we have no control over or information about those subscribers.

Blog is new and shows only 8 subscribers. But a good number of people have said they subscribed to the blog and received emails when I made a new post. Wouldnt they be showing up as subscribers/followers?
-
Would you please provide two or three email addresses which are not listed but claim to be receiving emails?
-
They are saying they signed up but are not receiving emails when a new post is made.
(email visible only to moderators and staff), (email visible only to moderators and staff) are two that are saying this. There are others that are saying they signed up, are getting emails when posts are made but do not show up as followers. -
The first user you mentioned has subscribed but never confirmed the subscription. Everytime you sign up to a blog, you’ll receive an email to confirm it was done intentionally and that you are okay with getting emails with new posts. If they don’t see that email, ask them to check their spam or junk folders.
The second user is not subscribed at all, are you sure the address is correct? There are others that are saying they signed up, are getting emails when posts are made but do not show up as followers.
We’d be interested in a couple of emails of those users to look it up.
