Friends have chosen to subscribe to my blog BUT they are not receiving notification of a new post. What am I doing wrong?
The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff).

I see you have several email followers here, and they appear to have been added to your site correctly as subscribers. However I see you mentioned “new blog posts” and I’m a bit confused because I did not actually see any blog posts here: https://wordpress.com/posts/achaplains.wordpress.com
Is it possible that I have your site wrong, and you are referring to a different site? Subscribers on WordPress.com will receive notifications of new blog posts you have published but they will not receive notifications for edits you have made to pages instead. i.e. the text on https://achaplains.wordpress.com/blog/ would not be sent as a notification since it is edited text directly on the page (formatted to look like blog posts) but not actual blog posts entered here: https://wordpress.com/posts/achaplains.wordpress.com
