Subscribers are not receiving email notifications when I post a new blog

What can I do if people tell me they aren’t receiving email notifications when I post a new blog?

Are the people not receiving notifications WordPress.com users, or email only followers?
If WordPress.com users, they need to specifically activate email notifications for your site before they will receive emails:

For email only followers, it’s possible they never confirmed their subscription. They can check that via the following page:
I’m also happy to look into this some more if you can provide a few of the email addresses that are not receiving notifications. Type each one on its own line and it will be hidden from public view, but I’ll still be able to see it.

Thank you for your quick response. I know one person is a member of WordPress and said her settings said she should receive an email when a post is published. I’ll check on the others and let you know.

one of my email subscribers told me that mysteriously no longer received emails of my new posts. What can I do to help her?

I discovered that in the WordPress.com Reader area, different people could unsubscribe, or be unsubscribed without realizing it. One subscriber and I both went to the Reader area and checked it out. One place says subscribed, but then it’s possible for them to have stopped the emails and planned to read it in the reader area. If you hover your mouse under where it says subscribed, you can check the email status. Perhaps the WordPress.com support people can help you more.

Can you please give me their email address? Then I can check. If you place the email address on its own line it will be hidden from public view, but I’ll be able to see it.
Email only subscribers can’t follow/unfollow via the Reader as they don’t have WordPress.com accounts, but it’s possible they could have clicked the unsubscribe link in the email, or changed a subscription setting that prevents the emails from going out.
