Subscribers are not showing on the followers list, they don't also get my mail

    I started blogging on WordPress two weeks ago, and a number of my friends told me they subscribed to my site but I can’t see them in my followers list ; Furthermore,they don’t receive emails of my posts. I only get notifications of followership from fellow wordpress bloggers.
    It looks like this complaint is a prevalent challenge on WordPress as it was reported here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/subscribers-are-not-showing-up-on-the-followers-list-and-are-not-receiving-posts?replies=2 , but remains “unresolved” — according to the status message.

    Please is there a solution to this issue, or is it something I’m not doing . Blogging with this problem is quite demotivating.

    I have a similar problem. I have 182 email followers who have signed up following a campaign that I conducted after I migrated from wordpress.com to a wordpress.org site hosted on my own server. (The promise was some subscriber only content which would be delivered to them today – Monday March 5).

    Now would like to view them all – so that I can send them some subscriber only content using MailChimp. When I go to Site Stats, click on the blog followers link I get a page listing the first 100. There is a link to click on page 2 – however it doesn’t work.

    The subscribers are listed in reverse chronological order (most recent first) – so as a new subscriber comes on, they appear on line 1. The subscriber on line 100 now disappears, presumably being bumped to page 2.

    But I can’t get to page 2. So – I can cut and paste the most recent 100 subscribers, but not the other 82.

    Need urgent help to fix this – I haven’t been able to find a plugin that allows me to download the subscribers – all the plugins out there only allow user and commenter downloads, not subscriber/follower downloads.

    Seems to be a very obvious bug. Do you have a work around I can have today so I can meet my obligations to the subscribers who signed up on the promise of a subscriber only sneak preview of my next eBook?
