Subscribers are not showing up on the followers list and are not receiving posts

  Hi there, I’m not quite sure what to do, I’ve posted on the forum with no joy. I know of at least eight people who have subscribed to my blog who a. don’t show up on my followers list and b. they get a welcome and hear no more. I am trying to build traffic and this is not helping. Can you help? I’ve emailed before and received no response. Oh by the way, I do realise there are WordPress, Twitter and Email followers so its not that they’re showing up somewhere else.

  I’m sorry for the inconvenience, and I’ll be happy to help. :)

  In your blog dashboard, can you go to Dashboard -> Site Stats, then under Totals, Followers & Shares, click Blog Followers, then Email Followers? All your email followers will be there.

  Note that in Users -> Invite New, the only followers that will appear there are the ones you invite. In contrast, the email followers above will display all email followers that you invited and subscribed on their own.

  If they aren’t receiving email posts, please have them check their junk/spam folder. They’ll only receive published posts after they’re following your blog.

  Also, if they’re only email subscribers (not WordPress.com users), they can view their subscriptions management page by entering their email address here:

  Status

  (Under the Settings page, Block emails should be unchecked.)
