Subscribers in case of nameserver updating/full transfer

  We have registered our domain through WordPress.com and now we are deciding whether to update the nameservers or doing a full transfer to another registrar.

  What would happen to our suscribers (mail and wordpress) in both cases? As far as we know; suscribers via mail would just move with the blog and the wordpress ones should be transferred using jetpack and your support. Would it be like that in both cases (nameservers updating and full transfer)?
