subscribers lost – my fault can you help?

  Hi

  Without realising the consequence I had two installs linked to the same ID the production site at

  cromptonhouse.org

  and the development site at

  dev.cromptonhouse.org

  used to check upgrades etc prior to updating production site.

  I saw conflict messages on both sites saying have you updated your site to the other URL and decided to switch off Jetpack on the dev site and when I went to production site it asked me questions about reconnecting the site to JetPack I did so which resulted in presumably getting a new ID and now I have lost all subscribers – Not interested in restoring stats but do need to get the subscribers back.

  Can you assist please – I have read numerous tales of woe and saw that it is possible to relink them so hopefully you can assist please – if this is not the correct way to ask for support please advice?

  Both of those URLs are for sites that are not hosted by wordpress.COM.

  Note that Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built in to WordPress.COM blogs.

  We do not provide Jetpack support on these wordpress.COM support forums.
