Subscribers not been able to reply via email?
-
I have several subscribers that were on my same blog on Posterous, but i just moved the blog to wordpress and they would like to be able to follow and reply to the comment/discussion via email. In the past, after a post was made, they were notified off all activity on that post, including the comments and were able to reply via email from their phones without going to the blog, is this possible on wordpress? Or do I have to make them Administrators in order for them to reply via email? Please let me know.

Hi. I see no one replied to this yet… It’s normal that when you hit “Reply” on a “New post” email, that the reply does not go to the author or to commentators. It goes to a “no-reply” e-mail address. It’s been like that as far as I can remember. I don’t think making them administrators/editors would change it.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to get a functionality like the one Posterous has where all the people involved on the thread get an email BUT can also reply via that same email, I guess it is not possible on WordPress. Thanks again.
