Subscribers not receiving updates by email

  I saw a recent post about this in the forum but it went unanswered. An update to my blog was published last night and is visible on my blog, but it has not gone out by email. I am subscribed to my blog and have not received it (despite being signed up for instant email updates) and others have not received it either. Is there something I need to do?
