Subscribers to blog are not receiving e-mail notification of new posts

  The subscribers to one of my blogs (http://contractiq.wordpress.com/) are not receiving e-mail notices of new posts.

  Up until recently this appeared to be working fine.

  Please advise.

  Could you please ask them to make sure they have the correct settings set at http://wordpress.com/following/edit/ (click on the edit link next to the listed blog) and http://wordpress.com/settings/subs-delivery/

  Otherwise ask them to contact us directly at http://wordpress.com/contact

  What about those subscribers who follow by e-mail only followers?

  They should be able to manage their subscriptions at https://subscribe.wordpress.com/ – this link is also provided at the bottom of the previous e-mail notifications they’ve received.

  Who exactly has these issues? though, best is to forward them directly to us so we can help them better.

  Thanks again for the prompt response.

  A number of my subscribers have contacted me indicating that they did not receive their usual e-mail notice of a new post. Once again, this has not happened in the past as they were receiving new posts previously.

  The subscription setting is something only the follower can change. You and I don’t have control on this.

  It would be nice if you could let a specific user contact us when this happens again. This way we can troubleshoot the issue better.

  I will see what I can do as there are a good number of them.

  In the meantime, is this a situation that you have encountered in the past re subscribers that had previously been receiving updates stopped receiving them?

  If it has happened previously, what caused it?

  Just as an additional note, I am a subscriber to this blog and I did not receive the last two notifications. I did not do anything at my end to change my settings so why would the notifications have stopped.

  Here is one of the e-mail addresses (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  This user has their “Send new posts by e-mail” setting disabled. Therefore they don’t receive e-mail notification of new blog posts on your blog. They can change their notification settings at http://wordpress.com/following/edit/ by clicking on the ‘edit’ link next to the listed blog.

  Regarding your own account, you have the “Block e-mails” option enabled at https://wordpress.com/settings/subs-delivery/. You’ll need to disable that in order to receive e-mails from WordPress.com.

  I’m not sure but he can contact us is he has issues changing those settings.
