  What is the cost of a ‘no frills’ blog at WordPress? Call it the accounting department or what HUGE corporations such as WordPress is, but I’ve lost track, and when it was time to make it ALL right I don’t think this amateur writer would shell out those bucks.

  Right now you’re posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. The cost for a blog here is free – you already have one at http://onemorecup.wordpress.com/

  We do sell paid plans as well, but those add extra features to your existing site, and you only need those if you want one of those extra features:

  If you instead want to use the open source version of the WordPress software which is made by the community on WordPress.org, you’ll need to find a hosting provider for that. In that case the cost would depend on the plans offered by the hosting provider you go with.
