  People are getting an error message when they try to subscribe. Many are not even getting the confirmation email. Please fix!

  Hello,

  You are using the self-hosted version of WordPress, hosted by Hostgator, rather than WordPress.com.
  This is the forum for WordPress.com users, you need to post your inquiries about your website here:

  Since I see that you are using the Jetpack for subscriptions, you can contact the Jetpack support here:

  I am not sure that you even have the problem with the subscriptions since I tried to subscribe and did so successfully, I subscribed and the confirmation email came.
