  I recently started a blog using free wordpress plan, and it seems that people need to sign up to wordpress account in order to subscribe to my blog, is this correct? Can people subscribe without having an account with wordpress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  People can subscribe to your blog without having a WordPress.com account:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#if-you-do-not-have-a-wordpress-com-account

  They can also manage their subscriptions here as long as they are :
