  How can I put up an option for viewers to subscribe to my blog?

  Use the RSS button; some themes have it automatically displayed, or you can use the RSS widget and configure it to display YOUR feed instead of someone else’s. Right now we have no “subscribe by email” feature, although I understand you can offer one if you use Feedburner.
