Subscribing to a blog

  Hi. I have a question about how subscribing works. If somebody checks the “Subscribe to this site by email” box below a post, do they get an email every time I modify an existing post (which I have a habit of doing!) or only when I publish a NEW post?

  How does it work with Comments? Do they get an email every time a new Comment is added?

  No, they only get an email the very moment the post goes live. They don’t get emails when it’s changed. And if you fix an error, etc, in a post that’s already up, they don’t see that.

  As for comments, yes, they get an email every time a comment is added to whichever thread they’ve subscribed to.
